Sam Fisher's career in music began over 20 years ago as a touring artist. He would go on to sell 40,000 albums over the next decade as the front man and lead singer of an indie-rock band before closing that chapter of his career. After a two-year stint with global distributor Redeye Worldwide and indie label Yep Roc Music Group, Sam began fielding requests from independent artists seeking assistance with various aspects of the music industry (tour planning, artist development, release planning, and management). In response to this, Sam co-founded Paravel Management with offices in Nashville and LA, to serve these artist’s needs.
Within two years of launching, Sam was able to drive the growth of the company through the signing of underground hip hop artist KB (Reach Records), worship/gospel duo Seth & Nirva (Integrity), CCM Pop artist Branan Murphy (Provident/Sony) and author D.A. Horton (NavPress).
During this time, Sam oversaw the development of several acts who would go on to promising debuts as signed artists (Seth Ennis, For All Seasons, Kid Politics). Sam would catch the attention of and later join the team at Maximum Artist for one year before moving to Deep South Entertainment as an Artist Manager. In the 18 months since joining Deep South, Sam’s clients have launched five top ten singles, amassed 15 million streams and seen 400% growth in social media engagement.
A voracious reader and lifelong political enthusiast, Sam has enjoyed a growing reputation for his no-nonsense approach to political discussion and has built an avid follower base through his quick-witted and biting commentary on current events and political discourse.
